- Divorce and family court records: Reach out to the County Clerk or the Supreme Court Clerk's Office in the county where the case was filed
- Divorce certificates: Request from the New York State Department of Health, Vital Records Section
- Property and deed records: Contact the County Clerk or the City Register (in New York City boroughs)
- Birth, death, and marriage certificates: Request through the New York State Department of Health at (855) 322-1022
- Criminal history checks: Submit a request through the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS)
